I MUST finish Scar Tissue soon..’ya know why?! Because I can’t handle another three days of staying up until midnight because I don’t want to put it down!! Before Munch and I left for food shopping yesterday, I dug out What Hits for the ride there. I almost passed out COLD when, out of curiosity, I flipped the case over to glance at the release date and realized that I purchased that disc SIXTEEN YEARS AGO?!?! Honestly, that CAN’T BE…it was only last week, right?!??!?!?! :\
Regardless, I’m pleased to say that Munch smiled all throughout “Higher Ground” AND “Knock Me Down”..w00t!
Wednesday Munchie’s new swing set arrived (please note: ‘169 total pounds’ factoid). When Delivery-Dude arrived he explained that he’s ‘curbside’ delivery only, which in any other town would be no problem…but when your driveway is 160 feet long and you don’t actually HAVE a curb, that kinda sucks. And that is how I found myself carrying 100+ pounds of Backyard Fun up my driveway on Wednesday. Interesting part of that story…the box was GINORMOUS and somehow I ended up being the one that had to walk BACKWARDS for the entire length of the driveway…men…pppfft!
Yesterday was frickin’ chaos. Before Munchkin even woke up, I had already cleaned the kitchen, dusted the entire house and did a load of laundry. We went food shopping in the morning, then as soon as she went down for her nap I worked out for an hour, cleaned all three bathrooms, showered, made lunch for today (my friend is stopping by), baked, then woke Munch up to give her a bath, blah-blah-blah. Have I ever mentioned that I hate making plans on Thursdays/Fridays?!??! 
Regardless, I’m sure we’ll have a nice time today and I love that she’s coming to visit! It’s also nice to start off the weekend with EVERYTHING done.
Tomorrow I’m off to our Godson’s FIFTH birthday party?! FIVE?! Again…CAN’T BE!?! He was just learning to walk last week, right?!?! On the way there, I plan to make a quick stop at a ‘Green Expo’ that’s going on nearby…I’m very curious what they’ll have there.
Sunday is of course Mother’s Day…my family is a little weird when it comes to Mother’s Day, so we ended up not having plans with them. I called up a restaurant nearby and made reservations for brunch (at 9AM, I guess we could just say ‘breakfast’). I’m really happy that we’re going and I hope that Muncheroo will be in good spirits, so we can take our time and enjoy the morning 
Hello, why wouldn’t the dude at least drive it partially down the driveway? It probably had something to do with seeing your guns, and totally knowing that he couldn’t possibly lift it with any finesse in front of you. I am sure you managed it better than he could have anyway.
Why are you surprised that you were going backward down the driveway? Isn’t that how you carried chairs downstairs? Or something like that. I still have pictures of you lugging that humungous TV box on your back.
I know it! I feel like Ohio just watched me puke while sitting next to my “apple juice bag” at the hospital while you gracefully left the room. 5 years old!!!
My little man is getting so big it is scary. I carried him to his bedroom last night and swung him into bed like I have for 3 years now; “1, 2, 3…..” then I throw him on the bed and we do prayers. I have to say, the whole carrying, swinging and throwing thing may have to end like tonight. My back can’t take much more.
We look forward to seeing you tomorrow wheatgrass or not. You are going to probably be asked at least 35 times from the two of them, “where is uncle Ohio? Where is Munchie? Where is the cat?”

OMG! I don’t know what’s worse, the fact that What Hits was released 16 (a freaking teenagers age) years ago OR that I totally remember popping this CD in my sisters 1991 Eagle Talon and taking it for a joy ride! (I’m so old my wrinkles hurt)
